Dr. Lopez was born and raised in Brigham City, Utah. He grew up around a variety of farm animals including cattle, horses, and dogs. He attended Snow College, earning an associate of science degree, and then Utah State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in bioveterinary science. In 2004, Dr. Lopez received his doctor of veterinary medicine degree from Washington State University in Pullman.
After graduation, Dr. Lopez worked in a mixed-animal practice in Idaho. It was during this time that he developed a love for small animal care. He went on to practice small animal emergency medicine in the Boise area. He moved back to Utah in 2006 to be closer to family and practiced small animal medicine as a relief veterinarian. He is the hospital director of both Crestview Veterinary Clinic and Mountain View Animal Clinic.
He and his wife have three beautiful children. Their family also includes two dogs, a cat, a cockatiel, a rabbit, and three fish.
Dr. Darcey was born and raised in West Point, Utah. She has always had a strong love for animals and always wanted to become a veterinarian. She attended Utah State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in bioveterinary science. She then attended the Washington State/Oregon State University veterinary medicine program, where she earned her doctor of veterinary medicine degree in 2005.
She currently resides in West Point with her family. Dr. Darcey and her husband have three children and a variety of animals, including two dogs, a cat, a cockatiel, a dwarf rabbit, and fish. She enjoys outdoor activities, painting, photography, horseback riding, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Darcey has been with Crestview since the beginning. She has strong interests in both canine and feline internal medicine. She also enjoys both feline and canine behavior medicine and ophthalmology.
